"Pretty Good Digital Scale"
Return

This is the Digital Scale we use, it is of good quality & accurate enough to make quality BioDiesel.
Made of plastic, it seems impervious to damage from Caustic Hydroxide.

These are the Pretty Good Digital Scales we use ourselves. They are made of plastic so they are chemically resistant to Lye. They hold up very well for weighing out Hydroxide. We have been very pleased with them. We had been using a high end digital scale but Lye was attacking the display area so we discontinued using it & bought one of these. Being made of plastic we were not sure how well it would hold up but after using it for over a year we have found no problem with chemical attack from the hydroxide. Not only is it accurate enough to weigh out the lye to make BioDiesel, it is cheap enough that if you ever do manage to destroy it, you will not be out much money.  We now can highly recommend you buy one of these scales yourself to use for making BioDiesel !
